And for my next trick...

Today Cooper was  playing while having his afternoon snack after his two hour nap (thanks honey for taking the two other kids out for a while)....he was having some cheese crackers and I soon found him stacking the crackers on top of his sippy cup.  For some reason I found this brilliant...let's face it...I'm proud of everything this little man does, aren't I??  Here is a shot of his four teeth---he was tired of me taking pictures and wanted out of his seat so here he is trying to get mad.  He is pretty funny when he's trying to show you he is mad....of course laughing at him only makes it worse.  Being the wonderful mom that I am I took a picture...hey, it was the only one that I could get that was showing his top teeth.

Dancing with Elise

Cooper loves dancing to music---with and without a partner.  If he finds himself alone and hears some good music he will sway side to side or bounce up and down if he is standing.  Here he is getting down with his big sister, Elise.  Looks like they are both having fun!

Need to do some painting??

Until July 2, Glidden is giving away a free quart of paint!  I can always find something to spruce up around here.  Just go to www.glidden.com and pick a color.

Three of my musketeers...

Here are three of our gang...sure, Matt needs to shave, but it's a good picture anyhow...

Doing the laundry...

Well, as you may know....the laundry is NEVER done.   At home our washer and dryer are in the basement and are top loaders....so Cooper never gets to "see" them in action. Grammy and Grampa have front loaders and he really enjoyed watching them go 'round and 'round...not to mention that there are doors "hiding" them from your sight in the hallway.  Also, our relatives from Cleveland (and my Dad who is from Cleveland) will be proud to see that he is apparently a fan of the Indians...

Coop and Em...

This was Cooper's first time meeting his cousin, Em.  They had a great time chasing each other around and playing together!  Notice the magazine shredded to pieces in the background....?   My dear husband has learned the hard way to keep magazines he wants to read out of Coop's reach...

Coop's first Mule ride...

I have no idea why they call this thing a mule other than it packs stuff around for you....no matter the reason for the name Cooper definitely liked riding it with Grampy down to get the trash cans (for those of you who don't know my parents live on 5 acres so it's a little far to just walk down and drag those babies back up).  Once Grampa showed him how to honk the horn he was all about pushing that little button!

Coop's Grammy and Grampy

Now...I know that my son loves me and I love him....but there's definitely a different kind of bond with his Grammy and Grampa.  He loved playing "patty cake" with Grammy.  Here are some cute pictures from our visit last week.   And yes, he is teething...this just might be the ONLY time he will take a pacifer.  And he chews on the outer edge of it....silly little man.  Those top two teeth have been taking forever to come in and are giving poor Coop a tough time!  I think he's also working on one (or maybe 2) more on the bottom.

On the move!

Well, I think (fear) that we are close to walking.  Cooper will crawl (faster than I can walk sometimes) to anything to pull up (and now climb up) to standing.  He loves doors (no smashed fingers yet) and opening and closing them.  At Grammy and Grampa's house he was constantly crawling over to a window/door to find the "dah" (dogs).

Pool Party...

Or...it could just be Cooper and I in the pool at Grammy and Grampa's house in Kentucky.  Cooper is so much fun all by himself that sometimes it feels like a party...he sure can entertain himself with some of the most simple things (magazines, cups, tupperware lids, etc.).   In these pictures he was entertaining himself by slapping his hands on the water to make bubbles and then poking the bubbles with his little chubby index fingers!  Too cute!

So cute that I took a chance on waking him up...

Over the last few weeks when we lay Cooper down in his crib he flips right over and tucks his arms down beside him with his tush up in the air...it's just so cute.  Of course, he's standing up and "calling" for us in the mornings---he looks like a little prisoner.

Ball Pit...

Cooper's day care provider suggested that for his birthday we might want to get a ball pit and some balls for Cooper because he LOVES the set she has....well, we figured why wait--he doesn't really know the difference between getting him something now or in August.  So, we got a little blow up pool and a bag of balls....and it's true....he LOVES it!

My two guys...

Just hanging out on the floor...

Why bath time is more challenging...

And let's just start this "conversation" by saying that my dear husband was taking these pictures while I stood by to make sure that our slippery little noodle didn't go anywhere.  He's just so darn cute...I can't help but post these shots....including that cute lil' tush.

This picture cracks me up...

I'm not even sure what was originally supposed to be happening in this picture, but it makes me laugh each time I see it....

Bath Time...is so much fun!

Cooper definitely loves bath time....he just splashes away.  So much so that I have to be careful not to wear anything that I want to keep on....because I'm just as wet as he is by the end of the bath.  Here are a few shots of him crawling, etc...

Update....I promise...

To my mom and dad....best known as "Cooper's Grammy and Grampa"....an update is coming soon!  Tonight I hope....
