Thanks...

Cooper would love to give a BIG Thank You to everyone who sent him a great gift for the holidays. Despite the fact that he was spoiled beyond belief at the holidays his greatest source of enjoyment was through this box we got at Costco.....Go figure. I'm pretty sure he's trying to figure out how to break out of the house in the one. Smart little booger! The other picture (not involving a box) is just a cute one of Cooper and his big brother dancing in his room (disregard the mess----don't judge me) :)

So be sure to go back through the last few posts....the first one I posted today was a repost of the videos that most everyone should be able to play now. I've been bad about getting the camera out lately....I need to get back into the swing of taking it everywhere and having it ready to take a good picture.

Well, I do at the grocery.....

sit in the grocery cart that is.....

I'm pretty sure that's what Cooper was saying to me when I kept telling him to not stand, sit, or kneel in the play grocery cart that we got him. The fascination with doing inappropriate things in the cart has died down a bit....I think getting stuck in it a few times did the trick. That---and I've been putting his balls (football, soccer, baseball, etc.) in the cart so he likes to push it around with all of his "bahs". Here is one or two pictures I found of him in the chair....if you notice the red on his shirt---no worries---we had just been fingerpainting earlier in the day and got a bit messy.

Christmas Morning Part 2

Cooper also LOVED his chair. He sometimes forgets to use it and will just sit on the floor to watch Sesame Street or the Wiggles, but I will move him away from the television (what is it about kids and sitting with their nose touching the screen??) and remind him to use his chair and he will....I have got to get a picture of him kicked back in it soon. It's too cute! He's also quite fascinated with his top....as you can see from the picture he didn't want to let it go to open more presents. Doesn't he look like a peacock or something with his wild morning hair...?

Christmas Morning....

So, now that Christmas is well past us.....I finally have time to post some of the pictures of that joyous day! It was really SO fun to see Coop come down the stairs with his brother and sister. He is still too young to "get it" all, but he saw a bunch of stuff that wasn't there before so he was excited. I tried and tried to get one of those Little People Nativity sets, but everywhere I looked was sold out---he was very intrigued with our ceramic set and I let him play with it a bit. I need to try and find one online now that I have some time...of course I'm sure I won't be able to find one now.

How to figure out your 16 month old is really sick....

In December (I know---I'm behind on posting) this is the position I found him in after leaving the room for a few minutes. He had been clingy for a good portion of the afternoon, but that's not totally unheard of for him especially when he is teething, etc. It was the middle of the day---not near his nap time....so this (and a fever of close to 103 degrees) made me think that maybe he wasn't feeling well. If only he could just tell me when he doesn't feel well....poor little guy had strep throat. When he's not sick and he finds someone laying like this on the ground he climbs on and wants to ride you like a horse....

Video re-post....

This is for those of you who weren't able to download the videos posted earlier....I couldn't figure out how to post video directly to the blog since updating my account. Thankfully my great cousin (thanks Candice) helped me out!

I don't know what to do with my tongue...?

So, the little man has been saying "hi" for quite some time, but has recently mastered "hello"....but he doesn't quite know what to do with his tongue.  In the video when he picks up the Mr. Potato Head set he is asking for "help".  I don't know if I've mentioned it...but I so love this kid.

 Helllllo

Sometimes you just feel it in your hips....

Cooper got a Wiggles CD in his stocking from Santa....and he LOVES it.   He is especially fond of the "Hot Potato" song for some reason....he will drop whatever he is doing and start moving his hips and arms.  It is nothing less than hilarious.  He has now started coming to get "hep" (help), then goes to point to the CD player and says "dis" (this), and every so often you'll hear him say "puh" (push)....and then he can't hardly say anything because he is moving and grooving.
