I feel like all the pictures I post of Cooper are of him eating.....he really doesn't eat all day. I usually keep the camera on top of the fridge for some odd reason so I remember to take pictures when he's in the high chair which means he is usually eating. Here he is after he had a new hair cut. It's the second one already. I had decided that it was worth the few dollars to have someone else do it so it didn't 'look' like I was cutting his hair....well, if I weren't there I would think that this lady just plopped a bowl down on his head. I think I could have done this...good thing he's cute and his hair grows fast. :) Here he is with his new do....snacking on some black beans and watermelon. Don't tell me why I picked that combo....he liked it.
Welcome to our world! This little piece of the internet is about the adventures of our family which includes me (a working mom who loves to craft when possible), my husband (a working dad who travels a great deal), our three kids--a teenager, a preening pre-teen, and a handsome little preschooler. Oh, and our rotten golden doodle, Penny.

Adventures...
In food....With Cooper eating more and more finger foods he has been able to experience all kinds of raw foods. This is his first time trying a piece of red bell pepper. At first he just banged it around on the high chair, but he finally figured out that he could bite on it and it has a pretty darn good taste. It was hard to get away from him once he mashed it all up and it started falling apart....he's a pretty adventurous eater. He'll try most anything you give him...
Aloha...
We found this adorable shirt (it has little white board shorts too--but as you can imagine those didn't last long with an almost 9 month old little boy who likes to feed himself) for Cooper. It's sooo cute! He's a funny little man. He either hams it up or he won't smile/look at me when I have the camera out...
So many uses...
Cooper has always loved his exersaucer, but usually from the top.....well, lately since he's been crawling he has really, really, really loved being in the bottom of it. He'll toss his toys in there and then crawl into it. He even gets visitors....the furry kind! Tasha and Boris love keeping an eye (and nose/tongue if they can sneak it in) on him....

Our new and WONDERFUL bathroom!!
With so much thanks to my dad who came to help us finish the bathroom....it is DONE!! And here is the finished project. It's beautiful and more importantly functional! It doesn't take an hour to fill up the tub....my tush doesn't hit glass when I bend over in the shower....and now we each have our own sinks. LOVE IT! Here are some pictures....the before pictures are further down on a previous post.
All cribs are not created equal...
So, my mom and dad have a crib for when Cooper comes to visit....it it not as tall as his crib at home and we all found this out when he was able to stand up relatively easily all by himself. The top bar at home is a bit higher up than this one. He was quite proud of himself while mommy was worried about leaving him in there by himself. I had visions of him catapulting right out of there....he's so strong.
