The Philadelphia Zoo

Whoa--it's hot out here!  This was at the beginning of our visit...

I love hippos..

Cooper loved all the snakes, turtles, frogs, etc.

We went up one day since Matt was staying the evening in Philly for work....but we went to the Zoo to have some fun.  We had fun---even though it was incredibly hot.  I would love to go back in the fall.  The price was so reasonable since they have reciprocal membership privileges with the Baltimore Zoo where we are members.

My monkeys watching the monkeys..

Now THIS Is the way to go to the Zoo...

Gone are the days of having him sit still for a picture...at least the other two cooperated.

I don't know if you can tell but he was walking around flapping his  arms like the ducks...

They all loved the petting zoo..
I don't know how the goat felt about it though...

Love that they are all at least facing the same way....and look at the rainbow.  :)

And next I would like to show you a series of pictures I have entitled "Deterioration of a Toddler"....brought to you by no nap and 104 degree temps.

My couch p'taters...

So, Cooper has had no interest in watching a full length movie....until he was introduced to Toy Story.  And now he LOVES Toy Story 1 and 2.  His current favorites are "Buzz Buzz" and "Woody".  Here are my boys veggin' out and watching Toy Story the other day.
Cooper loves to hold your hand and rub a finger/fingernail....if he's sitting next to you he'll even say "Hand please".  He especially wants to do this when he is tired.

It's a rough life...

As you can see...Cooper has a very...rough....life.  He has taken to sitting in his chair sideways.  Do you think that's his way of saying he wishes he had a recliner?

"Seriously mom..."

Trying to escape the camera...

Train tracks...

aren't just for trains.  :)

We are working hard on potty training--hence the no pants look
Look at that crazy hair....the "just up from a nap" look is in

Who knew that mowing the lawn could be so much fun...?

Well, the people who invented the Bubble Mower...that's who!  Cooper loves bubbles...and doing anything that Daddy does so we got this mower for him.  And he loves it...especially when someone else pushes it so he can follow behind and pop the bubbles.  And then I had this butterfly that was helping me do yard work...so I finally got a good shot of it.  So pretty!

Ohio Trip...

Cooper playing with Cole's trains...
in July...yes, I'm a bit late--don't judge.....we went to Ohio to visit family and had a little family reunion.  It was so nice!  We had a blast...thanks to my cousin Wendy and her family for putting on such a nice picnic for all of us!

My cousin, Candice and her son Cole.

Playing basketball with Papaw

Trying to push Papaw in the hotel pool which was freezing!
Deciding to just stay on the side and splash

Fun outside and Gigi and Papaw's House...

Gigi and Papaw got the kids a ball, bat, and ball stand set to play with while we were visiting.  Everyone also enjoyed the big porch, and they sat outside to play cards, etc. at the tables.  It is so beautiful and peaceful at their house.
