A day off with my boy!

So, our child care provider, Ms. Kim, was sick a few days last week.  Thank goodness she is okay now.  Anyhow, Cooper and I did have a couple of nice days together at the end of the week.  And of course, I took the opportunity to get the camera out and take a few pictures!  And Cooper took the opportunity to find every stick in our front and back yard...he also started collecting all of the fallen leaves.  I love fall.  I think he does too!

Seriously mom....Can a boy not have any privacy around here???

Well, we have been doing the potty training thing.  At home, Cooper is mainly in his underpants with the exception of at night.  Some other parents have given me the suggestion of waking him up at night to go potty---but he wakes up WAY too easy and then takes forever to go back to sleep....and as a working mother my sanity (which greatly depends on sleep) is more of a priority right now.  So, here are some cute shots that I'm sure will get me yelled at when he is older.  I really, really, really am very proud of Cooper.  He is fairly early for potty training...boys just do it later than girls in my experience.  He was definitely the lead in that venture...he was interested and when he started to get upset about it we would back off.  He will tell you now when he has to go potty....and if you aren't paying attention to what he is telling you he will be very insistent.

Apple Pickin'...

I got the suggestion of Baugher's Farm in Westminster, MD from a friend of mine...and it did not disappoint.  We all loved it.  We had taste tested a few apples and decided on two pecks of Mutsu or Crispin apples.  We enjoyed cut apples, apple dumplings, etc.
